How PricePolice Works

Add your products

Add products one at a time, import a CSV, Excel or Google Merchant feed, or connect your store. Each product needs a name and your product page URL; a SKU, model number and manufacturer make matching more accurate.

Link your competitors

For each product, paste the competitor's exact product page, search a specific competitor's site, or let PricePolice find competitors for you. New matches wait in Needs Review until you confirm them, so you only compare against pages you trust.

PricePolice checks prices on your schedule

On the days you choose, a Monitoring Run visits every competitor page you've linked. For each page it:

• reads the price, sale price and stock status;
• checks it's the same product using your SKU, model number, manufacturer and product name;
• converts the price into your currency;
• and holds anything unusual for review instead of alerting you (hidden prices, placeholder prices, or prices far below yours).

Each competitor page checked uses one Price Scan from your plan.

You get alerted

When a confirmed competitor drops below your price or your MAP, the case appears on your dashboard and in your email digest. MAP violations keep dated evidence of the page and price, so you can download a MAP report to send to the seller.

You act

Match the price, update it in your connected store, report the seller, or mark the case resolved. Your MAP history shows which sellers break your MAP most often.
